Description:The world’s finest specimens of vanadinite have come in a range of habits, sizes and shades from many small workings and mines in the desert area between Mibladen and Midelt. The specimen shown here is probably from the ACF or Coud’a workings.
Description:Anglesite from the Touissit-Bou Beker district in Morocco was first described in 1965 as poorly crystallized specimens. But by the mid- to late 1970s, excellent specimens with gemmy yellow crystals had come to light. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s additional fine specimens in large yellow crystals reached the market, said to have been dug at the “shaft IX” area (though no one is absolutely certain).
